![]() I think this will be the answer to being able to use my old software. I ordered another Notebook that has Windows 7 32-bit. Thus I returned the computer to HP for a refund. ![]() They opened a case and did their best to get XP Mode to work, but were unable to do so. I called Microsoft and asked them to help me. Why should I continue without the features, and what features will be I be sacrificing? That doesn't make sense. It would give me an error message, "Could not enable the integration features" then suggests I try again or continue without these features. Then the third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh attempts that I made to open XP Mode all failed. ![]() You have to wait three or four minutes for this to activate the XP Mode, much longer than I would prefer to wait. This little window pops up and tells you it is opening Virtual PC or something. The next day, I started up the PC again and later clicked for XP Mode. ![]() It worked okay the first time, except for my not knowing how to get it to recognize my flash drive. I bought a new HP Notebook with Windows 7 Ultimate and downloaded XP Mode from Microsoft. ![]()
